Casting Vengeance unleashes a barrage of rockets that deal damage equal to a percentage of the maximum life enemies possess. Strafe now casts the last non-channeled Hatred spending ability cast. After casting Falling Sword, you descend from the sky with two Archangels that can cast Consecration and Condemn. After casting Steed Charge, this effect occurs more rapidly for five seconds. Every two seconds, call down Fist of the Heavens on a random nearby enemy. All runes but Dominion now throw the hammer in a direct path in front of the Crusader. Blessed Hammer now crackles with energy, damaging enemies within 15 yards of its path. Activating Wrath of the Berserker consumes 50 stacks of Tempest Rhythm and startles enemies within 16 yards, causing them to take 2% increased damage per stack for 20 seconds. Diablo 3 without the set stat gains becomes a different beast entirely.- Hitting enemies generates stacks of Tempest Rhythm.

If the power creep gets really out of hand that'd be the only way to reset it that I can think of.Ī Season Without Sets would be an interesting mess, too. It'd knock everyone down a notch without singling out any individual class or build. The flip side would be to have a season where all enemies get buffed, and just call it the Season of Torment or something. So Blizzard opts to go with a little power creep rather than the bad will that a real nerf would bring. If someone spent all season pushing a build as close to perfection as possible and then Blizzard knocked a chunk of that power off, that person would be justifiably pissed. Nerfing the current standout sets gets the same thing accomplished, but it's also sort of a slap in the face to people who took the time to develop those sets. Buffing up lesser used sets its a good way to try to get them in play.
